What I Ate Wednesday: Fun Food & Fitness

Hi all! Good morning to ya and happy What I Ate Wednesday! (Haven’t done one of these in months!) And can you believe it’s the last day of July?!

Thanks Jenn for always hosting! Even though I’ve hardly done any of these, I always enjoy reading other bloggers’ WIAW posts!

I love Brittany’s WIAWs, don’t know why. She must be cool or something

The above picture pretty much sums up my last few days; the reason I haven’t blogged the past two days.

Since I am not working right this moment, I’m trying to spend some time doing things out of the house, running, and tanning…which ends up taking up most of my day and I end up not opening my laptop. (Which I need a new one, by the way!)

Okay, enough of that, let’s get to WIAW!!

I started my day off with a delicious green protein smoothie! It was so tasty, and if you head over to my Instagram, you will see the recipe!

A couple hours later, I headed to JCP to try on some bathing suits…which I got on MEGA sale. I feel awesome.

When I got home, I was more than hungry, but I knew we were having an early dinner in about 3 hours, so I made a spinach banana almond butter wrap. Please do not make a gross face until you try it.

(Using recycled photos because I didn’t take time to take a picture of it because…well, I was hungry!)

These wraps are very mild tasting so you can’t even tell they are a spinach wrap! Score!

A little while later, after a nice cup of coffee…

We had TACO SALAD!!!

I just really love taco salad. We have it every couple of weeks and it’s just so good. I don’t usually eat a lot of cheese, but taco night, I do eat it! So this meal was about 90% clean, full of lettuce and healthy veggies, and NON-GMO gluten free corn chips!

Workout complete!

    • 1 mile warmup
    • 4X1000m repeats with jogs in between each one
    • 1 lap cooldown
    • 3X200m repeats w/ jogs
    • Almost 1 mile cooldown

For post workout, I just ate a chocolate cookie dough quest bar, baked!

If you haven’t tried a baked Quest Bar yet, you are missing out! Better than a chocolate chip cookie out of the oven. NOT KIDDING!!!!
